Danny Ali (b. 1998) is an Iraqi-American documentary filmmaker based in NYC. Upon earning a degree in anthropology and digital media art from UC Irvine, Danny merged his studies to tell compelling stories on his interests such art, kin, fashion, and sports. Recently, Danny was a video intern for the David Zwirner galleries working on art documentaries.
In his short films, Danny uses anthropological research methods such as field work, participant observation, and conducting interviews in order to get an expansive view on the story.
